J and I were lazing on the bed earlier watching the trees as he nursed, “mama do trees make num nums’ no I said ‘but mama they do, without trees we can’t live’ this made me smile, he is so clever and intuitive and see the cycle of life :)

 

K has been in mathematical play mode today, he was making patterns with his geomags (bar magnets) and had worked ou the 6×4 gave him 24, he then mused that 7×3 would also but quicky realised not, looking perplexed for a moment he then announced that 3×8 would give him 24 and smiled broadly as he proved this to himself.  I love moments like this :)
